Design & Expectations
Since this wall is part of a grid-based building system the wall was supposed to be seemless next to each other. Also, pillars have to intercept the walls without looking weird.
This room is used by scientist to research the genes of monsters. Because Abyss Lab is a Dieselpunk themed game, technology should not be missing here. The wall has a tiltable machine which emits light.
Here noble work is done - at least this is how the staff of Abyss Lab think about it. That's why I added some Art Dèco elements at the bottom. I have to admit that it was quite hard to combine precious, expensive marble (Art Dèco) and cold, useful machinery and concrete (Dieselpunk) within a single design, but I am satisfied with the outcome. The main colors are yellow, white and blue. These are unique among the rooms and are reused for the clothings of the scientist unit.
